Competitive, "Travel" Softball is a fast-paced, athletic sport with components of strategy, teamwork, and quick decision-making. Learning to play the game at a high level as a youth is a fantastic foundation for success in sports and life.

 

The "Phantom Travel" program is recognized as one of the top "Travel" organizations in Northern California. Phantom is a registered USA Softball program (formally ASA softball) at the “A”, “B” and “C” levels of competition and enters some of the top USA, USSSA, PGF and other tournaments throughout Northern California and the west region.  We typically field at least one team for all age divisions from 8U to 18U each season. 

 

Many girls from the Phantom program have gone on to play on very high level softball teams, and a lot have gone on to play for the most successful high school and Division I college teams in the nation. Some of the girls that you see playing softball on ESPN today got their start in Phantom!

 

PGSL's Phantom Travel program is about building girls' self esteem in a competitive and fun environment. The girls that play on "Phantom Travel" teams not only learn to be top notch softball players, but become very disciplined, confident and well rounded athletes. They build a strong camaraderie with their team and community and are well prepared for the next levels of softball, the classroom and life.
